ASHES Test series is going to an end as Australia are on their way to Clean Sweep England after winning the ASHES 5th Test with a margin of 4-0 in their homeland. Australia started the ASHES 5th Test day with Marsh brother on the crease.

Australian Innings highlights and score

Shaun Marsh was on 98 not out and Mitch Marsh was on 63*. They both take the Australian innings in a flow and made centuries and created history when two brothers hit centuries on the same day. Mitch was bold by Curran on a total of 544/5 and then Shaun Marsh hit one to the covers and Dropped catch, they tried to steal a single when Stoneman’s direct hit to the stumps send him to the pavilion. Steve Smith decided to declare late in the Evening session at a score of 647/7 with the help of little cameo by Tim Paine and P Cummins.

England Innings highlights and score

England were shaky once again and seem helpless in comparison of Australian bowler. Mitchell Starc was impressive again with the ball in hand and show Stoneman the way to pavilion by getting him LBW on just a score of 5. Then another disaster for Alastair Cook when Lyon get his man on 10. James Vince showed a little fight before he caught at slip in the safe pair of hands of skipper. David Malan  was the next prey of Nathan Lyon at the score of just 68/4. Then Johnny Bairstow came to the crease and helped his skipper to save the day for England. Joe Root is once again the lone survivor in the England team as he he became a wall against the seam and spin attack of Australian Bowling attack.

The question is whether Joe Root can take this game to draw from here when his team is looking down and out in the ASHES 5th Test at SCG Sydney Cricket Ground. The Co like Johnny Bairstow, Moeen Ali and the tail have to help him in this cause. Lets see what happens on the 5th day of the ASHES 5th Test.
