Introduction Chapter 2 “Proposed System”

Analysis of the existing system shows that manual working speed is slow as compared to modern available tools. Digital Shoppe offers computers, laptop, chargers and other accessories, so people like to visit Shoppe frequently. Most of the customers keep themselves updated with the latest product, so it is also important to keep system updated with the latest products. Observation of current manual system demands the modern solution to overcome the problems of the Shoppe.

Description of Proposed System

Proposed system for the existing system is online shopping website for the people who want to shop online. This website actually contains up-to-date laptops, Computers, Mobiles and other accessories. It provides a user friendly interface to customer. People visit our website and check all the available products. If people like some product and want to buy, then they can select the product then they place the order on website. Customer can order the product but before that they have to login through their social media account. Once a customer order some product, he/she is added to our customer list and get updates about new offers.

A customer can enjoy all features of the website. Customer can change their order, even they can cancel the order in a given time. But website is following the Digital Shoppe Policy as mentioned in chapter#1. Used products cannot be changed but delivered damaged products can be claimed. If the fault is from customer side then customer has to pay some amount for it but if it was company fault then product is recovered without additional amount. Products can be claimed only within given time.

Fundamentally this website will provide maximum facility to the customers, deliver the products at their door step. The main aim of this website is to improve the services of Digital Shoppe.

Objectives of Proposed System

My project is online shopping center related to the Digital Shoppe center with following objectives.

Planned approach towards working

The data will be stored properly in database, which will help in retrieval information and better for working.

Accuracy

The level of accuracy in the proposed system will be good like a Digital Shoppe Shop. All operation is done correctly and it ensures that whatever information is coming from the center is accurate.

Reliability

The reliability of the proposed system will be high due to the above stated reasons. The reason for the increased reliability of the system is that now there would be great storage of information.

No Redundancy

In the proposed system utmost care would be that no information is repeated anywhere, in storage or otherwise. This will make consistency in the data stored.

Immediate retrieval of information

The main objective of proposed system is to provide for a quick and efficient retrieval of information. Any type of information will be available whenever required.

Easy to operate

The system should be easy to operate and should be such that it can be developed within a short period of time and fit in the limited budget of the user.

Efficiency

The proposed system is efficient in the manner that it stores a huge data about the customer and it is properly integrated. So in order to generate any type of report from the system, it will generate efficiently due to data integrity.

Effectiveness

A significant response to given orders is clerical tasks to improve effectiveness. Customers are facilitated with a quick response to their orders.
